Hurricane Melissa Relief and Recovery Vigil

Following the destruction wrought by Hurricane Melissa in the Caribbean, @uoftbsa, @uoftwisa, @bgsa_uoft, @carssuoft, and @uoftessu are collaborating to host a candlelight vigil this Thursday evening. We open this space up to students and members of the wider community who are looking for a moment reflect on and commemorate the damage inflicted.

If you or your family have been affected by the hurricane, this space is meant to provide community support that you can draw from for comfort and peace. We will also be compiling a list of resources for those interested in donating or volunteering to the cause. We’re looking forward to seeing you this week ❤️

The Vigil will be held on the front steps of Sidney Smith Hall (100 St. George Street).
